Can't Hide From Her

Made a painting of some fat ugly girl as an inside joke for my friends, but ended up making some silly movie as well using the limited After Effects and Premiere knowledge I had. Still learning!

Here's an edit of the original "faux vector" I made jokingly in 2010:

And then here's the vector trace I made in Illustrator while learning the program. And yes, that's her name btw:

And then my painting. Omg, I laughed:

And finally the "short film" which was more an experiment with both After Effects and Premiere:

I had my fun. Haha.

Spirit Day 2012

Did a quick painting for Spirit Day 2012 on October 19th.

Completed it just before midnight too.

The Bomb Challenge: Complete

Still learning how to use Flash. Animation is pretty novice, but I'm starting to understand how to move the components individually.

Quick desert painting to use for the background.

For some reason Flash wouldn't export a 1200x675 pixel .mov file correctly by squishing it on its sides, so I ended up stretching it in After Effects. Still learning, yo!

Pen Tablet Test

Looking at the differences between the Wacom Bamboo and the Wacom Intuos.

I thought my line quality would change, but I guess it didn't all that much. Maybe it's just me. However, I think my lines taper more at the ends I guess.
Here are some thumbnails I did with the Intuos. I think it's a little better? Hmm...

The Bomb Challenge

Went to the CSUF PMC event called The Bomb in which the goal is to make a bomb animation move across the page and not blow up during the 72-hour animation marathon... or something like that. I actually attempted it this year (and I've been going since 2009) so I can practice Illustrator and Flash.
Simple colors, although I might change it later.

Andddddd... a ridiculously simplistic motion tween. Need to learn how to animation individual components independently.

Nail: Production Model Sheets

Presented my turnaround like the production model sheets I've seen on the Dan Vs. servers.

Model sheets for my character Nail. Played around with Illustrator since I don't really know how to use it. Hurray for learning.
